The Bhatra or Bhattra are a scheduled caste in India. They live in Bastar (CG), Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Orissa. They speak Bhattri.
They do cultivation work and collect mushrooms and forest food and fish too. Some of them work as laborers.
The Bhatra have traditional councils to judge in matters. They do not use family planning. Only a few of them can read and write so the gospel will need to be given in oral form too.
